An investigative project conducted with Alana James (Northumbria University) and Hong Kong based NGO, Redress to understand the fashion educator experience of teaching sustainability. Following the collection and analysis of data gathered from educators in Hong Kong, China, UK and Australia, the project will conclude with a suite of resources to support educators develop innovative curriculum.

Dr Alice Payne and myself presented aspects of our global research work at the 2nd Unmaking Waste conference. Discussing, 'Geographies of clothing waste: global perceptions, local solutions', Alice and I shared insight on the ways in which micro-enterprises are repositioning textile waste as a valuable resource, from our book, Global Perspectives of Sustainable Fashion (edited with Professor Evelise Anicet Ruthschilling). Our forthcoming book chapter will be published in 2019.
